Langley, BC – BC Food & Beverage (BCFB) is pleased to announce the addition of five new members of the Board of Directors: Kirk Homenick, Naturally Homegrown Foods, Lyndsay Scott, Kindred Cultures, Lachlan Whatley, Apex Food Source, Nicky Shaw, Daiya, and Ariel Laver, FASKEN.
These new appointments will replace outgoing Directors Jeff Novinger, Kay Woodland, Ally Bharmal, Jill van Gyn, and Colin Henry. ‘It’s always exciting to have new Directors to provide fresh ideas and a new perspective, but the leadership and experience provided by our outgoing Directors will be missed’ said James Donaldson, CEO of BCFB. ‘Their significant contributions to the Association and our industry are greatly appreciated’.
Additionally, at its Annual General Meeting on June 28th, the BCFB Board of Directors also appointed a new Executive Committee. Kirk Homenick will serve as the new Chair; Jasmine Byrne, Big Mountain Foods was appointed Vice Chair, and Lyndsay Scott was elected as Secretary. Rounding out the Executive Committee is Leo Wilson, Partner, KPMG as Treasurer, Pamela Ambriz, Vitalus Nutrition as Vice Chair and Steve MacIntyre, Fine Choice Foods moves into the Past Chair role after completing his two-year term as Chair.
