BCFB CEO James Donaldson Named One of BC’s Most Influential Business Leader

July 3, 2026, Burnaby, BC – BC Food & Beverage is proud to share that BC Food & Beverage CEO, James Donaldson, has been named by Business in Vancouver News as one of their 2026 500 Most Influential Leaders in the province. The BIV News BC500 list recognizes influential leaders making a notable impact across British Columbia’s communities, industries and economy.

The BC500 celebrates individuals who demonstrate the values of modern leadership—including engagement, trust, corporate citizenship and inclusion. James brings over 30 years of experience in British Columbia’s food and beverage industry. For the past 12 years, James has served as CEO of BC Food & Beverage, helping drive the association’s growth and impact. He recently served as co-chair of the Premier’s Task Force on Agriculture and Food Economy and on the Trade and Economic Security Task Force. Under his leadership, BC Food & Beverage has continued to support the sector through advocacy, collaboration, education and initiatives that strengthen connections across the food and beverage ecosystem. James’ commitment to building a more resilient, innovative and inclusive industry has helped elevate the sector’s profile while creating opportunities for businesses and communities across the province.

His inclusion on the BC500 is a well-deserved recognition of the passion, experience and leadership he brings to his work every day. We are proud to celebrate this achievement with him.
