The Inductee into the BCFB Hall of Fame is Left Coast Naturals

The recipient of the Hall of Fame Award is a company that has made a significant contribution to the food and beverage industry for more than 20 years. This year, the Hall of Fame Award goes to Left Coast Naturals, founded in 1996. They’ve come a long way from two friends selling jars of nut butter at a local market. Today, they distribute 27 brands, over 200 organic and natural bulk foods, and manufacture three of our own brands. This company’s commitment is not just to making great food and serving their customers, but also to doing it in an ethical and environmentally responsible way.

Based in Burnaby, British Columbia, Left Coast Naturals is an organic and natural food manufacturer and was the first distributor in North America to have a formal non-GMO Policy. Sustainability lives at their core with their triple-bottom-line philosophy (people, planet, and prosperity).

“I am truly honoured to get the hall of fame award from BC Food & Beverage. When I entered this industry with no experience 26 years ago, I could never have guessed the support that our business would get from fellow food entrepreneurs and associations like BC Food & Beverage,” says Ian Walker, President and Co-Founder of Left Coast Naturals. “I’m so glad to be part of this exciting and evolving industry.”
