Spread the Love, Nominate for a 2021 BCFB Award

The 2021 BC Food & Beverage Award nominations are open! You have until May 28th to share your story and enter for one of the many BCFB awards. The awards are open to everyone in the industry – small and large. You are welcome to nominate yourself or spread some love by nominating someone else, or hey, why not both! The annual BCFB Awards were created to recognize and celebrate the achievements of people, companies, and products in the food and beverage space.

For the past 5 years, we have been incredibly fortunate to receive ongoing support from Fasken, a leading international law firm with more than 750 lawyers and ten offices, including offices in Vancouver and Surrey. Agribusiness, food, and beverage companies rely on Fasken to advise on legal matters across a variety of practice areas and through every step of the supply chain. Our partnership with them has led to them becoming the marquee sponsor for the BCFB Awards!

“BC’s food and beverage industry has been growing year after year and is now one of the province’s leading industry sectors. As it grows, BC businesses are innovating and adopting new strategies, practices, and technologies to create amazing products and to respond to emerging trends,” says Fasken Partner, Ally Bharmal, “As a proud sponsor and long-time supporter of BC Food & Beverage, Fasken knows how much work goes into ensuring the production, processing, and distribution of safe, high-quality consumable goods. We applaud the incredible talent and innovative minds that populate the food and beverage landscape and are passionate about ensuring that BC remains a leader in this space for many years to come.”

The award winners will be announced at the virtual Awards Show on September 16th. Get excited by checking out last year’s virtual 2020 BCFB Awards Show on YouTube!

Chairman of Cascadia Seaweed, William T. Collins and CEO, Mike Williamson, were happy to receive the Sustainability Award last year along with the rest of the team at Cascadia.  “It was an honour to be showcased alongside some amazing BC Food and Beverage producers,” said Desiree Dupuis, VP Sales & Marketing of Cascadia Seaweed.
